To innovate the students with more practical experience, the Industrial visit was the keystone during this academic period. We the department of Visual Communication, MET college of Fine arts arranged an Industrial Visit to the Vishalakshi Samethar Sree Kasi vishwanathar Swami Temple, at Chenbagaramanputhoor, and the Kanya Spinning Mill at Aralvaimozhi.
The students covered the Spinning mill and temple with photographs. The inscriptions on the temple are studied with photographs. Then finally students did the live sketching of the temples in different views. The day was well spent in terms of gaining knowledge and the efforts contributed to making this visit a grand success.
Industrial visit has their own importance in the career of a student, who is pursuing a professional degree. It is considered a part of the college curriculum. The objective of an industrial visit was to provide us an insight regarding the internal working of companies. We understand that theoretical knowledge is not enough for a successful professional career. With an aim to go beyond academics and to expand the practical knowledge, we the department of fashion designing, M.E.T College of Fine Arts arranged an industrial visit to the Kanya Spinning Mill at Aralvaimozhi. Which is one of the Spinning mills in Kanyakumari Dist.
The company with a group of dynamic professionals, working proactively in a challenging environment. The students get a tour of the whole mill with each section from raw cotton to yarn.

Each doubt and curiosity we had was solved with much interest. The insight into the complete working of the factory was more interesting and acquired knowledge about the working section.
