Grievance Redressal Committee

M.E.T ENGINEERING COLLEGE has constituted a Students Grievance Redressal Committee is established under Regulations, 2019 v ide F. No. 1 – 101/PGRC/AICTE/Regulation/20.19 dated 07.11.2019 headed b the Principal as Chairn an and senior heads of the departments. The committee meets at regular intervals to resolve the complaints registered by the students.

The functions of the Conrn ittee are to look into the complaints registered by and student and judge their merit. The Grievance Redressal Committee is also enapo›vcred to tools into matters of harassment. Anyone ›v itla a genuine grievance may approach the Grievance Redressal Committee members in person. In case the person is un il ling to appaear in se It, grievances may be sent in writing.

Objectives:

A Grievance Redressal Committee has been constituted to set right the problems reported b;• the Students of the College and to huild cordial Student-Student re lationshi ps and Student- teacher relationships
To build up a receptive and liable approach among all the stakeholders to facilitate a health; learning ambiance in the Organization.

Responsibilities:

Encouraging the students to put across the ir grievances freely and honestly, without the panic of being ill-treated. Suggestion boxes are l‹ept in prominent places to help the
The Committee deals with Grievalaces received in writing from the students about am of the issues related to academic matters, conditions ot health and la giene, canteen and bus
The Committee officially meets to review all cases, prepares reports about the number of cases received, attended, and pending cases, if any, which require dii ection and guidance from the higher authorities.
